Terms & Conditions

1. These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders. Receipt of acknowledgement of order by you, constitutes your acceptance that our conditions are the only conditions that apply to the contract.
2. Payment Terms
The Buyer shall pay the price of the Goods prior to the production and delivery of any order.
3. Prices
Printing prices are based on artwork being supplied by the customer unless design service is required. 
4. Deliveries
4.1 Turnaround time is 2 to 4 working days on most printing products after we have received written approval of the proof by the customer and after funds have been cleared.
4.2.Every effort will be made to deliver on time, but any delivery day specified is a best estimate and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from delay or error in the delivery of the goods.
5. Cancellation charges
Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will also be charged for and deducted before any refunds are made.
6. Claims
6.1. You must examine all goods delivered at the time of delivery. We shall not be liable for any loss arising from damage caused to the goods in transit unless loss or damage is noted on the delivery note at the time of delivery.
6.2 Complaints must be made in writing within 48hours of receiving your goods. Any complaints made after this time period are void of any right to refund or reprint.
6.3 With colour reproductions in all manufacturing methods, slight deviations from the original cannot be rejected. The same shall apply, for technical reasons, to the comparison between other templates, e.g. proofs and printouts, even if we have prepared them, and the end product.
6.4 Excess or short deliveries of up to 10 % of the ordered quantity are to be accepted. These shall also include spoilage,start-up sheets, adjustment copies for further processing machinery, production-related cuttings of the upper and lower sheets, which are not removed.
7 Liability
7.1. We can accept no responsibility for loss or damage arising from the supply of goods under this contract unless you have fully complied with the notification of claims procedure set out in clause 6.
7.2. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect the rights of a consumer.
8. Force Majeure
8.1 The following shall be regarded as causes beyond Mikado Print reasonable control:
8.1.1. Act of God, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident;
8.1.2. War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition;
8.1.3. Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority;
8.1.4. Import or export regulations or embargoes;
8.1.5. Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial actions or trade disputes;
8.1.6. Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts or machinery;
8.1.7. Power failure or breakdown in machinery.
9. Miscellaneous
The validity, construction and performance of this agreement shall be governed by English Law.
